Will this project benefit only North Belfast or the whole of Northern Ireland?

• Although based in N Belfast, PIPS has already offered support and specialist (www.livingwork.com) training to volunteers from other local communities (see www.pipsproject.com), even though full training of a volunteer costs £1,500.

•  For each £100,000 raised, £15,000 will go towards training 10 volunteers from other communities in Northern Ireland. PIPS will also provide “T4T” (Training for Trainers) for those who deliver suicide awareness training.

• Ultimately, as a “Centre of Excellence” with in-built expertise, PIPS staff hope to be the catalyst for the development of further PIPS houses and projects throughout all communities in Northern Ireland.
  
  
• Ultimately, PIPS will act as a catalyst for improvements in our education system, attempting to ensure that our children learn not just work-skills but also the life-skills  that are necessary for coping with depression and other forms of  temporary emotional imbalances.
